On America’s streets and roads, diesel is an environmental solution. Beginning in 2010, new trucks and buses will exhaust a fraction of the soot, hydrocarbons and nitrogen oxides that were allowed by law a few decades ago. Diesel vehicles, with traditional performance values, will be as clean as or cleaner than alternatives.
